Now THAT'S Relatable!
Canned laughter aside, I really enjoyed the first series of The IT Crowd. I know some people think the show is a bit "broad," but it's based on a concept that anyone who has ever worked in an office can relate to without pandering to its audience (unlike an American remake of another British office comedy; I can't think of its name at the moment).
Even if you don't like the IT crowd, there's a lot to love about Richard Ayoade's performance. I recognized him from his work on Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, but other than that I had only heard the name mentioned. Joel McHale (one of the funniest people on the planet) recently referred to Ayoade as "one of the funniest people on our planet." I'm starting to agree with that assessment.
